Summary
St John's Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint an Apprentice Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide teaching and learning support within our Early Years Team, based in our Reception Class. The post is an apprenticeship so will include self and supported study alongside the working day. East Lancashire Learning Group (formally Nelson & Colne College) will be your academic support. They will visit you and assess you throughout your course. The successful candidate will be working across our EYFS department with children aged between 3 and 5 years. To be an Apprentice Early Years Educator in our EYFS team, you must be friendly, self motivated, nurturing, have a positive attitude, and be prepared to learn work collaboratively within our team. You will be expected to work alongside the teacher and the team in a collaborative way, to develop the children's knowledge and understanding of the world and create a safe environment for learning. You will assist with the delivery and evaluation of the curriculum and it's differentiation amongst pupils.
