We’re looking for a Bank Content Designer to join our team, working on high-impact Child & Family Wellbeing (CFWB) services. This is a unique opportunity to combine UX writing, strategy, and data-driven design to improve lives at scale.
We anticipate significant shift availability over the coming months and are looking for a committed bank worker who is able to work flexibly. Shifts will be offered as service needs require. There is no guarantee of hours and each shift constitutes a separate engagement.
Package Description
As a Bank Content Designer, you’ll be working as part of the HCRG Care Group Team in our Corporate service. As well as the attractive hourly rates of pay, at HCRG Care Group you will benefit from:

About the role
This is more than a content role – it’s about designing end-to-end user journeys that make complex health and wellbeing information simple, accessible, and actionable.
You’ll lead the design and optimisation of content across our digital platforms, ensuring families can quickly find the help they need—while helping services run more efficiently.

Create clear, inclusive, and accessible content grounded in user needs

Turn complex clinical information into simple, user-friendly guidance

Design needs-based journeys (e.g. “I’m worried about my child…”)

Produce content across websites and app-based experiences

Analyse user journeys, search behaviour, and performance data

Identify content gaps and opportunities for improvement

Continuously test, iterate, and improve content effectiveness
-
Partner with service and SPA teams to reduce avoidable demand
-
Design content that enables self-service and reduces unnecessary calls
-
Demonstrate measurable impact and ROI
-
Apply SEO best practices to ensure content is easily found
-
Monitor and improve organic performance
-
Work closely with clinicians, operational teams, and stakeholders
-
Facilitate workshops and gather insights from subject matter experts
-
Build strong relationships across services
What we're looking for

Proven background in Content Design, UX Writing, or Digital Content Strategy
-
Strong understanding of user-centred design principles
-
Experience using analytics and data to inform decisions
-
Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear content
-
Solid knowledge of SEO and digital best practice

Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
-
Experience in healthcare, public sector, or family services
-
Knowledge of clinical or safeguarding contexts
-
Experience designing content to drive behaviour change or demand reduction

Ability to write for different reading levels and audiences
