Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per Annum

Aim of Role:

We are seeking a pro-active and engaging F&B Assistant Manager. Working closely with the Food & Beverage Operations Manager to deliver consistently high standards of hospitality through the department.

Overseeing daily operations, supporting the F&B Operations Manager and added by a team of supervisors, you will help to ensure efficient, friendly and professional service delivery to our guests.

You will lead from the front: running services, supporting the team, and maintaining a visible presence across the F&B department.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Coordinate services ensuring smooth and professional delivery, with a high level of customer service
Create and monitor staff scheduling, manage staffing levels according to the business needs
Provide strong leadership, support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture
Create a warm welcome for every guest, engaging confidently and enriching the guest experience
Ensure hospitality areas are maintained and presented to the highest standard
Assist with compliance and ensure operational standards are upheld
Manage and review reservations, monitoring efficiency and service flow
Assist with staff training
Maintain good service practices
Appraising staff performance and provide feedback for review and development
Support the improvement of systems and operational practices
Support events and large bookings, helping to ensure they are run efficiently.

Flexibility to work business hours including weekends and holidays
Previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality
Confidence in running busy services
Commercially aware with understanding of wage control and efficiency
Excellent organisational and scheduling skills
A natural leader who motivates and develops others and is a strong team player
Hands-on, proactive and solutions-focused
Enjoys hosting events
Loves working in a dynamic hotel environment
