Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Owner Driver Courier / Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely collection and drop-off of parcels. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers who enjoy independent work and possess strong organisational skills. Applicants must hold a valid UK driver licence and be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Collect parcels from the warehouse or designated collection points and deliver to customers within specified timeframes
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with company standards
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Handle heavy lifting when required, including loading and unloading parcels safely
- To have held a full UK manual driving license for minimum or two years and have the right to work in the UK.
- Pay will be weekly
Skills
- Valid UK driver licence no more than 6 points on your driving license (No DR, DG, IN, MS or TT related endorsements)
- Pass a DBS check.
- Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when handling parcels
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Pay: £120.00-£220.00 per day
