Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team at longa Turkish café. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders and payments accurately, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Requirements

Consistent weekend availability.
Previous barista experience required, though specific training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer interaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A friendly disposition with a passion for coffee culture and customer service.
