About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, organised and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day running of our warehouse operation in Llansamlet, Swansea.
This is a hands-on role combining warehouse supervision, stock control, order fulfilment, Amazon FBA preparation, export logistics and customer service support. The successful candidate will lead a small warehouse team of 2–3 staff, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent stock accuracy and high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
· Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
· Lead, train and support warehouse staff to ensure work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
· Ensure all customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched correctly and on time.
· Receive, inspect and book in incoming deliveries.
· Ensure stock is stored accurately and efficiently within designated warehouse locations.
· Prepare products and shipments for Amazon FBA, including labelling, carton preparation, palletising and compliance with Amazon requirements.
· Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
· Develop and maintain warehouse procedures and work instructions where required.
· Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity and accuracy.
Inventory Control
· Manage stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
· Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts.
· Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
· Monitor fast-moving and low-stock items and communicate replenishment requirements.
· Ensure inventory systems are maintained accurately and consistently.
Shipping and Logistics
· Prepare export and customs documentation for international shipments.
· Prepare Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN) and associated shipping documentation where required.
· Liaise with couriers, freight forwarders and transport providers to arrange collections and deliveries.
· Track shipments and resolve issues relating to delayed, damaged or lost consignments.
· Support customer service enquiries relating to shipping and delivery issues.
· Coordinate replacement shipments and corrective actions where required.
Purchasing and Warehouse Supplies
· Monitor and order warehouse consumables, including packaging materials, labels, tape and protective equipment.
· Ensure sufficient operational supplies are maintained to support business requirements.
Team Leadership
· Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to warehouse staff.
· Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members.
· Promote high standards of performance, accountability and teamwork.
· Support the development of staff as the business grows.
Systems and Reporting
· Maintain accurate warehouse records using business systems and Microsoft Office applications.
· Produce stock and operational reports as required by management.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives through accurate reporting and analysis.
Health & Safety
· Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies and relevant health and safety legislation.
· Promote safe working practices and correct use of warehouse equipment.
· Conduct regular checks to ensure work areas remain safe and hazard-free.
· Report, investigate and address health and safety concerns promptly.
Person Specification
Essential Skills and Experience
· Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or similar warehouse management role.
· Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management procedures.
· Experience preparing shipments for Amazon FBA.
· Experience preparing export documentation and dealing with international shipments.
· Experience coordinating courier and freight shipments.
· Strong organisational and time-management skills.
· Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse or inventory management systems.
· Proven ability to lead, motivate and support a small team.
Desirable Skills and Experience
· Experience preparing Dangerous Goods Notes (DGN) or handling dangerous goods shipments.
· Experience within an e-commerce, distribution or Amazon-focused environment.
· Counterbalance forklift licence.
· Experience implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Employment Package
· Competitive salary of £32,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
· 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
· No weekend working.
· 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays.
