Background
Our team of plot sales specialists work with various house builders. They offer expert advice in the sale of new building properties.
Working on behalf of our house builder clients, we have an opportunity for a Paralegal to join our plots sales team.
The role
Dealing with plot sales caseload.
- Dealing with post completion and historic enquiries including deeds of variation, deeds of covenant and certificates of compliance.
- Meeting the needs of the developer clients all who have different procedural requirements.
- Assisting with new site set up.
- Giving additional support to other team members at holiday periods i.e. taking on additional clients and their work.
- Maintaining daily schedules and reports.
- Drafting of ancillary legal documents such as transfers, licenses etc.
- Attending client meetings.
- Reporting to clients on a daily basis and keeping them updated on progress.
- Supporting the needs of the rest of the team.
- Assisting with training of new employees within the team
Skills & Qualifications
Ideally suitable for someone with a background in conveyancing.
The successful candidate will have excellent client care skills, be able to manage their own case load and be comfortable in working within a fast-paced environment.
In addition, the ideal candidate will need a high level of administrative and IT skills.
An eye for detail and strong organisational skills are also needed along with the ability to organise and prioritise work in order to meet demanding deadlines.
