FULL-TIME GROUNDS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / GROUNDSMAN

£13.50 - £14.00 per hour

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Based in Lockerbie, Dumfries & Galloway, we provide grounds maintenance, landscaping, fencing and tree care services to commercial and residential clients throughout Dumfries & Galloway and beyond.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and understands the importance of delivering a professional service to every customer.

Unlike many companies within the industry, we offer year-round, permanent employment with guaranteed hours throughout the year.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced individual who:

Has a strong background in grounds maintenance
Takes pride in producing high-quality work
Has excellent attention to detail
Is reliable, hard-working and self-motivated
Communicates professionally with customers and colleagues
Can work efficiently while maintaining high standards
Treats customer properties with care and respect

Any experience in landscaping, fencing and tree works would be highly beneficial.

Typical Duties

Grass cutting
Strimming
Hedge trimming
Fencing
Turfing
Landscaping
Tree work
Site clearances
General grounds maintenance duties

Hours

April – October:

45 hours per week
Monday to Friday
7:30am – 4:30pm
Paid lunch break

November – March:

40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 4:00pm
Paid lunch break

Pay

£13.50 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience

Desirable Qualifications

PA1 & PA6 certificates
Grounds maintenance experience
Machinery operation experience
