Senior Video Editor & Videographer - My Duvet Flip
Location: London Hybrid (3 days/week in-office)
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000
The Role
My Duvet Flip is bringing video production in-house, and we need someone brilliant to lead it. We're looking for a senior video editor and videographer who can run the show end to end: filming episodes, cutting long-form, and turning every episode into a steady stream of short-form social content and trailers that actually perform.
This isn't an assistant-edit role. You'll own production and post-production from start to finish, behind the camera in the studio, then behind the desk shaping the final cut. You set the visual standard for the show and you're the one who delivers it, every week, without anyone chasing you.
What You'll Do
- Film the show: camera, audio and studio setup, solo or with light support
- Edit long-form episodes start to finish in DaVinci Resolve
- Cut high-volume short-form content for social from each episode, with a sharp eye for what actually hooks and holds attention
- Edit high-impact trailers that sell the show and drive new audiences to hit play
- Build and evolve the show's visual identity (graphics, titles, pacing, on-screen style) using Resolve or After Effects
- Manage the full post-production workflow: ingest, organisation, colour, sound, delivery
- Bring ideas, references and creative ambition, not just execute briefs
- Keep things running smoothly solo, while knowing when to flag for extra hands
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience filming and editing a podcast or digital show end to end, ideally solo
- A strong track record cutting trailers or promos with real hook and pace, the kind that stop a scroll
- Expert-level DaVinci Resolve; comfortable in After Effects for graphics
- A strong portfolio across long-form and short-form, with a clear eye for social-native pacing and hooks
- Studio production know-how: camera, lighting, audio
- Genuine craft and pace; you can deliver broadcast-quality work to a weekly cadence
- Self-starting and highly organised; you don't need a producer hovering over you
- A real interest in podcasts and where digital video content is heading
Why This Role
This is the first full-time hire for the show's video output. You'll be building the visual identity and the workflow from scratch, with full ownership. If you want to build something rather than maintain someone else's system, this is that job.
Pay: £60,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Video editing: 4 years (required)
- Videography: 4 years (required)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in London SW8
