Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in beverage service, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. The role is ideal for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy engaging with diverse customers.

Duties

Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests at the bar
Prepare and present a variety of drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Take orders accurately and handle cash or electronic payments responsibly
Assist in restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels to ensure smooth operation
Provide friendly assistance to guests, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations
Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements

Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Knowledge of serving standards and customer service best practices
Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
