Job Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tipper lorry to transport materials to various sites, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced or inexperienced drivers with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. The position involves driving on local and regional routes, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Duties

Safely operate a Class 2 tipper lorry to deliver materials to designated locations.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Ensure loads are secured correctly and comply with safety standards.
Follow planned routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary, maintaining health and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies during operations.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tipper vehicles or flatbed trucks, is an advantage.
Delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices.
Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks when required. This role is ideal for motivated drivers seeking a reliable position within a reputable company committed to safety and excellence in service delivery.

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
