We want to ensure potential employees are supported through the recruitment process and therefore we are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that are required at any stage of the process or upon joining GT.Responsibilities:Broadly, the role will involve working closely with the team and assisting in the following areas:<ul><li>Assist with drafting, negotiating and managing the circulation and signing of client engagement letters, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements;</li><li>Support the team with financial management including compiling fee estimates, WIP analysis, compiling regular fee updates for clients and liaising with the team’s secretaries and the firm’s Account’s team accordingly;</li><li>Provide administrative support such as document filing, data entry and data room management;</li><li>Assist with deal management including preparation of closing checklists, and compiling and maintaining transaction bibles;</li><li>Maintain and update team materials, databases and tracker schedules for ongoing and completed transactions;</li><li>Assist with the team’s social media and marketing efforts by drafting LinkedIn posts and coordinating content;</li><li>Assist with the preparing and submission of the teams’ directories submissions for legal rankings;</li><li>Assist with client pitches, proposals and RfPs where required;</li><li>Support the team with its innovation strategy and the introduction and trial of new technologies;</li><li>Liaise with the team to support communication and workflow across multiple active matters;</li><li>Conduct light legal research and document review to support fee earners;</li><li>Assisting fee earners in the team with any other ad hoc tasks.</li></ul>Please note this list is not exhaustive and may vary in line with changes to the team’s objectives and the firm’s policy.Experience, Skills & Personal Attributes:<ul><li>Excellent team player and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to act confidently with people at all levels.</li><li>Excellent prioritisation and time management skills and the ability to manage simultaneous workstreams to tight deadlines.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.</li><li>Good commercial awareness.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.</li><li>Proactive and positive approach.</li><li>A commercial and pragmatic outlook.</li><li>Ability to demonstrate a flexible and hands-on attitude, responding effectively to rapidly changing circumstances and fast-paced work environment.</li><li>Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel and Outlook).</li><li>Must be able to work autonomously.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Law degree or law conversion would be an advantage.</li><li>Previous experience working in a law firm would be an advantage.</li></ul><div></div>
