Hours – Working 160 hours with up to 10 sleeps per month or 192 hours with up to 12 sleeps per month.
Pay - Earn up to £32,160 per annum for 160 hours with up to 10 sleeps or Earn up to £38,592 per annum for 192 hours per month with up to 12 sleeps.

Key Responsibilities
As a residential support worker, you will be working with our Outstanding Managers and will support your team with the overall running of the home, care team and children in line with Ofsted legislation. A key component of the role will be a day-to-day support of the children in our care including household duties, cooking, shopping, laundry and adhering to safeguarding protocols in the home. The role is to ensure that all children receive appropriate care and education as required in their individual care plans.
The Successful Candidate will:
- Hold or be willing to working towards a level 3/4 qualification in Residential childcare.
- Thrive in a team environment and be flexible with the ability to work a rota pattern
- Be able to work shifts weekdays, evenings, weekends and nights
- Work alongside other passionate and inspiring support workers and instil motivation to the young people
- Be a part of helping the children and young people with their personal growth and development
- Hold experience of looking after children with emotional, behavioural, or mental health conditions, as such you will need to be compassionate, calm, resilient and understand the issues and challenges children face.
- Good communication skills are a must. You may be required to spend lengthy amounts of time with our young people therefore the ability to communicate well is essential.
- Good written and verbal skills. This role involves paperwork and liaising with local authorities. Record keeping and report writing as well as verbally reporting is essential.
- The ability to problem-solve, de-escalate, and divert attention.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- 1 years’ experience of working within Children’s homes or a similar setting
- Be willing to work towards a recognised qualification.

On commencing a role with us you will be required to attend our paid induction that will give you the tools to start your new career, this will include:
First Aid, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Understanding Behaviour, CPI training, and shadow shifts with ongoing in-house training during your first six months. Following this and your commitment you will be required to complete a recognised qualification (NVQ level 3/4 working with children and young people in a residential setting) We have lots of opportunities for progression as the business has exciting growth plans over the next few years.
