Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing sheet metal components with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where craftsmanship and mechanical knowledge are highly valued. Responsibilities

Fabricate sheet metal components according to technical drawings and specifications
Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling safely and efficiently
Perform grinding, welding, and assembly tasks to produce high-quality finished products
Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using appropriate techniques and equipment
Conduct basic inspections of fabricated parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication, welding, grinding, or related trades
Mechanical knowledge of sheet metal properties and fabrication techniques
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment
Ability to read technical drawings and utilise basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Familiarity with assembly processes involving sheet metal components
Good understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Previous experience working with sheet metal or in a similar role is desirable but not essential
