Funding Assistant

Location: Southport/ Hybrid

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference at the very start of a clients journey? At Fletchers Solicitors, were seeking a Funding Assistant to become a key part of our dedicated funding team.

Youll play an integral role in guiding clients through the funding process, working with a wide range of stakeholders across and outside the business. With your commitment to outstanding client care, youll help ensure every client feels supported and informed from day one.

Main Responsibilities:

Liaising with clients to gain consent to take out insurance policies
Incepting and updating insurance policies throughout the life of the case
Dealing with queries from lawyers
Contacting third party insurers to conduct BTE checks
Processing insurance claims and uploading disbursement vouchers
Assisting the Funding Supervisor with reconciliations and any other ad hoc admin jobs as required
Working collaboratively with the accounts team to ensure insurance claims are allocated correctly

Essential Skills and Experience:

Excellent customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic excel skills to be able to support management with reconciliations

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Experience of working with a case management system
Understanding of ATE and BTE insurance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
