Laser Operative
This is a superb opportunity for a Laser Operative to join the business through this rapid period of growth.
Responsibilities:
- Setting and Operating Laser Machines: Safely and efficiently set up and operate CNC press brake machinery to meet production requirements.
- Inspecting Finishing Products: Ensure all finished products meet quality and accuracy standards by conducting thorough inspections.
- Material Handling: Set up and load materials onto the CNC machine to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitoring and Adjustments: Continuously monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Working from Engineering Drawings: Interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications to produce components as per the requirements.
- General Duties:
- Support with loading, unloading, cleaning, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect parts and materials using a variety of inspection methods
- Use engineering measuring tools (e.g. Verniers, callipers, micrometres)
- Hours: Nights 10pm till 6am (30% shift allowance).

- Competent in using engineering measurement equipment
