Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising refrigeration systems across various facilities. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to interpret schematics, and leadership qualities to oversee maintenance projects. The position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in Industrial and Commercial refrigeration equipment repair and service to contribute to a dynamic organisation committed to operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose faults using schematics and technical manuals, then execute repairs efficiently.
Lead maintenance teams during complex repairs and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Repair or replace faulty components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
Collaborate with construction teams during system upgrades or new installations.
Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance energy efficiency and reliability.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations.

Experience

Proven experience in refrigeration engineering - Industrial and commercial (preferred).
Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams.
Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing teams or overseeing projects.
Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance within commercial or industrial settings.
Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC systems is advantageous.
Prior experience in equipment installation and troubleshooting is desirable. This role offers an engaging environment for professionals eager to apply their expertise in refrigeration engineering while contributing to the efficiency and safety of our facilities.

Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
