Fife Neuro Rehabilitation Service is a multi disciplinary service providing specialist stroke and neurological rehabilitation to adults across in patient, out patient, and community settings.
We are seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic in-patient Neuro Rehabilitation Team. You will contribute to the delivery of high quality, person centred care for adults referred to the service.
In this role, you will work closely with the wider multi disciplinary team to assess and treat individuals with a range of neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and progressive neurological disorders. You will provide specialist interventions aimed at maximising independence, safety, and quality of life.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Knowledge of occupational therapy models of practice within rehabilitation
- Experience of working within an NHS setting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Basic IT competency
- A commitment to collaborative, team based working
An interest in, or experience of, neuro rehabilitation or stroke rehabilitation would be an advantage. The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing development support from highly experienced Occupational Therapists within the service. Qualifications: A degree in Occupational Therapy is essential. Evidence of relevant training specific to neurological or stroke rehabilitation would be advantageous. Applicants should be registered with HCPC.
