Job Summary
Trade Beds Direct are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor / Office Administrator to join our growing team.

We’re a close-knit team and are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering great customer service, and is happy getting involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the office.

This role involves assisting with the daily handling of customer enquiries and complaints while ensuring a high level of customer care at all times. Alongside this, you will support with general office administration including inputting data, assisting with website content across our trading platforms, and processing customer orders efficiently and accurately.

You’ll be handling incoming phone calls and emails, greeting customers and visitors, managing files and paperwork, and helping support the wider office team with daily tasks.

We’re looking for somebody adaptable, organised, and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be confident communicating with customers, able to write clearly, and comfortable using Word, Excel, and other computer systems. A warm personality, positive attitude, and strong communication skills are highly valued within our team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Handling incoming calls, emails, and other communications
Arranging deliveries with customers and helping resolve delivery issues
Liaising with courier companies and suppliers
Dealing with customer complaints to a high standard
Managing filing systems and office records
Recording and updating information as required
Greeting customers and visitors
Updating paperwork, maintaining documents, and word processing
Helping organise and maintain office common areas
Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases
Supporting the wider office team with day-to-day administrative tasks

Requirements:

At least three GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent)
Ability to write clearly and assist with word processing when necessary
Warm, friendly personality with strong communication skills
Ability to work well under limited supervision and as part of a team
Experience in a customer-focused role is desirable but not essential

Salary:

£25,000.00 per year
