Dovetail Specialist Joinery Ltd is a well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer with over 25 years’ experience delivering high-quality domestic and commercial projects.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join our skilled workshop team, producing high-end bespoke joinery and furniture.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on workshop role requiring a high level of craftsmanship, accuracy, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke joinery items from technical drawings to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture bespoke joinery items including cabinetry, furniture, doors, and fitted interiors
- Work from detailed technical and CAD drawings to produce high-quality finished products
- Assemble, fit, and finish joinery components within the workshop
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards and specifications
- Work closely with designers and production team to resolve technical queries
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner in a workshop environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working with a range of hardwoods, softwoods, and sheet materials
- High level of attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience in bespoke or high-end joinery manufacture
- Familiarity with CNC processes and workshop machinery
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing techniques
