Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team for the summer . A perfect opportunity a collage or university student . The successful candidate will play a vital role in engaging with clients, promoting products, and supporting sales growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves engaging in sales, negotiating deals, and maintaining organised workflows to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

Greet customers professionally and provide detailed product information to assist their purchasing decisions
Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer suitable solutions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Negotiate terms and close sales efficiently, fostering long-term relationships with clients
Manage sales processes, including preparing proposals and following up on leads
Drive company vehicles as required for client meetings or product demonstrations
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up actions using IT systems
Organise appointments, schedules, and sales documentation to optimise workflow and productivity
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth

Experience

Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, ideally within environments
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales operations and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
Valid driving licence and comfortable driving as part of the role
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently
Knowledge of IT tools and software applications used in sales environments is desirable
