Job Description:
As an IM&T Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering technology projects that support business and customer requirements across the Air Sector. Working as part of the Digital Data & Integration team, you’ll manage projects through the full Life Cycle Management (LCM) process, from bid support and planning through to delivery and deployment.
You’ll coordinate activities across a broad stakeholder network, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with agreed cost, quality and schedule commitments.
Core duties:
- Manage the delivery of technology projects throughout the full Life Cycle Management (LCM) process, ensuring business and customer requirements are met
- Support programme and bid activities, contributing to planning, delivery and governance activities
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, monitoring progress and reporting performance against agreed objectives
- Manage project risks, opportunities, dependencies and issues, ensuring appropriate mitigation and escalation activities are in place
- Coordinate delivery activities across internal teams including Shared Services, Export Control, Cyber Security and Technical Security
- Ensure equipment and technology solutions are delivered in compliance with export control and security requirements for UK and international projects
- Lead project reviews and stakeholder engagement activities, providing clear visibility of project status, delivery performance and key milestones
Essential Skills:
- Project management experience within technology, digital, IT or business change environments
- Experience delivering projects through a structured project lifecycle framework
- Experience developing and managing project schedules, risks, dependencies and delivery plans
- Experience supporting bids, project mobilisation or early lifecycle project activities
- Project Management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2, equivalent qualification or relevant experience

The Digital Data & Integration (DD&I) team delivers technology projects that support business operations and customer programmes across the Air Sector. Working across a diverse stakeholder community, the team manages the delivery of digital capabilities, equipment deployments and technology solutions within both UK and international environments. The team plays an important role in ensuring projects are delivered compliantly, efficiently and in support of wider business objectives.
