The Role
This is a hands-on hybrid role combining product servicing and assembly within a clean, quality-controlled medical device environment.
The main focus of the role will be the servicing, inspection and repair of medical products returned to us. This will involve assessing returned products, identifying any servicing requirements, carrying out practical service work, and ensuring products meet our quality standards before being returned to use.
The role will also include regular assembly work, supporting the production of medical products in line with work instructions and quality procedures. Full training will be provided, including product-specific training.
Key Responsibilities
· Service, inspect and repair returned medical products
· Assess products for faults, wear, damage or inconsistencies
· Carry out practical servicing work using hand tools
· Assemble medical products in line with work instructions
· Carry out quality checks to ensure serviced and assembled products meet required standards
· Report faults, inconsistencies or quality concerns promptly
· Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs and assembly work completed
· Support goods-in processes within the department, including checking deliveries against paperwork and moving stock as required
· Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
· Follow all health and safety procedures
