Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Alloy Wheel Technician to join our dynamic team at Storm Alloys Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing on-site alloy wheel refurbishment and repair services throughout the whole of Staffordshire and the North West, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service at their convenience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company committed to innovation and quality.
Due to increased workload within the business, we are looking for an additional alloy wheel technician to join our growing team.
The job role is a Monday to Friday role, with Saturdays as and when the business requires.
Working two Saturdays in March and two Saturdays in September are compulsory, as these can be two of the busiest months of the year.
As a business, we focus on promotion within, enabling your career to progress within the business, to different roles within, including managerial positions.
A full driving licence is essential with no more than 6 penalty points.
There is an element of travelling as part of the job role, as we cover a number of sites throughout Staffordshire and the North West.
All uniform and tools are provided by the company.

Responsibilities
- Perform alloy wheel refurbishment and repair on-site at customer locations.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out repairs.
- Assess damage and determine the best repair methods.
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Drive to various locations as required to deliver or pick up wheels.
- Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to handle wheels and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Prior experience in automotive repairs or similar roles is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
