Kitchen Assistant | £12.71 per hour | Part-Time

Morgana Court Nursing Home, Bridgend

Available Positions:

22 hours per week – typically 8am to 7pm
16 hours per week – typically 11am to 3pm

Please note: We are unable to offer sponsorship for this position.

Are you an experienced Kitchen Assistant, Catering Assistant, or Hospitality Team Member looking for a role with daytime hours, a supportive team and the opportunity to make a real difference every day?

At Morgana Court, you'll be an important part of our hospitality team, helping to provide nutritious meals and a positive dining experience for residents living in our care home.

What We're Looking for:

We are seeking someone with previous kitchen, catering or food service experience who can confidently support the day-to-day running of a busy kitchen environment. Or an enthusiastic individual looking to begin a career in catering, who is willing to learn, develop new skills and grow within the role.

You'll need:

Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality setting (desirable)
Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
A reliable and organised approach to work
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A positive attitude and willingness to support others
Your responsibilities:
Supporting the Head Chef and catering team with meal preparation
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
Assisting with residents' dietary requirements and nutritional needs
Ensuring food hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent catering service
