We are seeking a dedicated Fish Fryer to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh fish and related ingredients in accordance with recipes and standards
- Cook fish using various methods such as frying, grilling, or baking to ensure optimal flavour and texture
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces
- Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards diligently
- Assist with meal preparation for service periods, ensuring timely delivery of dishes
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Support other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering environment is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Skills in meal preparation, cooking, and food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
