Ashwell Reclaimed Timber is the UK’s leading tropical timber reclamation specialist. From our timber yard and mill in Bulphan, Essex, we reclaim tropical hardwoods repurposing the timber for future use in an FSC® certified process that prevents further deforestation, saves energy and mineral resources, and protects architectural history.
Our saw mill can produce timber to bespoke specification, for construction purposes, landscaping, bridges, gates, fencing, and decking.

The Role
We are now looking for a Part time Office Administrator to provide crucial support to our office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative processes. This role is to work 3 days per week, Weds to Fri, from 8am until 4pm.
We are looking for a proactive and ambitious individual, with strong communication, IT, and organisational skills, and outstanding attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients
- Generate quotes and invoices
- Manage and organise office documents and files
- Maintain FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) records on an in-house database
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain office supplies and equipment
- Liaise with the yard supervisor to monitor stock and labour
What you'll need
- Experience with Office 365 and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
