Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Paint/Prep Technician to join our team.
This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preparation work in accordance with the Approved Technical Data and / or the instructions of supervisors.
- Perform surface preparations including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
- Apply coatings in accordance with the Manufacturers Instruction Sheets.
- Conduct inspections to verify surface quality and adherence to specifications.
- Ensure a good standard cleanliness is maintained in and around the booths , mix rooms & paint storage areas.
- Operate hand tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to component handling.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a paint or prep technician in an aviation or automotive environment.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or training in aircraft surface preparation or painting is preferred.
Pay: £30,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
