As Marketing Assistant (Future Students), you will join the Arts and Humanities Future Students Marketing team, working closely with academic colleagues and professional services teams across the University. The role plays a vital part in delivering high‑quality, engaging marketing activity that supports targeted, insight-led student recruitment activity in a competitive and fast‑paced environment.

This role offers the opportunity to develop strong delivery‑focused marketing expertise, contribute across the full student recruitment journey, and support key projects, campaigns and events that help prospective students make informed choices about their future at Manchester Met.

The Future Students marketing team are responsible for all future students marketing activity and plans. The team work cross-university and across the other areas of marketing to align marketing strategy, implement creative and impactful plans to support priorities. This role is part of the Arts and Humanities subject team who own and manage the relationship between faculties and marketing and are the subject matter marketing experts. You will be expected to work closely with other teams including Recruitment and Admissions, and marketing teams across Campaigns and International, sharing expertise and best practice.

What you'll do

Working as part of the Arts and Humanities Future Students Marketing team, you will support and deliver marketing activity that underpins recruitment, engagement and conversion.

You will:

Support and, where appropriate, lead Future Students projects, campaigns and recruitment events.

Coordinate and manage Future Students web content, ensuring information is accurate, timely and compliant.

Assist with campaign delivery across channels, including content creation and coordination.

Create and deliver high‑quality, audience‑focused content across digital and offline channels.

Develop engaging digital content that supports the student recruitment journey.

Respond to internal and external enquiries and support reporting and evaluation activity.

Monitor and contribute to the evaluation of marketing performance and insight.

Act as a brand champion, ensuring all outputs meet brand, accessibility and quality standards.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a motivated marketing professional who enjoys delivering high‑quality work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

You will bring:

Experience in a marketing or communications role.

Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

Experience supporting marketing campaigns, projects or events across channels.

Confidence using digital tools, websites and marketing systems.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A collaborative approach and confidence working with academic and professional services colleagues.
