Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in a variety of vehicles. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive electrical work and a strong technical background. The position involves working in a dynamic environment where safety, precision, and efficiency are paramount.

Duties

Diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles using specialised testing equipment.
Repairing and replacing faulty wiring, switches, sensors, and electronic modules.
Installing new electrical components such as lighting, alarms, and entertainment systems.
Conducting routine maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Interpreting technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs.
Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Maintaining detailed records of repairs and services performed.
Assisting with the organisation of parts and tools required for various repair tasks.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, and wire strippers.
Experience with power tools used in electrical installations and repairs.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy components.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
