Specialists in commercial and residential property services, JH Joinery and Construction has gone from strength to strength. Established in 2016, we have transformed a diverse range of commercial and residential projects. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional service.
Due to continued growth, we’re now looking for an experienced on-site Joiner.
The full-time* position will be responsible for tasks such as first fix joinery and second fix joinery on high end residential projects, high end fitted furniture installation, managing materials and fixings.
The successful candidate will work across multiple projects including home extensions, structural alterations, renovations and general building works, collaborating closely with our wider construction and joinery teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
General
o Carry out first and second fix joinery on a range of residential and commercial projects
o Install kitchens, doors, door sets, fire doors, staircases, wall panelling and fitted furniture
o Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail at all times
o Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
o Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
o Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and colleagues
o Follow all company health and safety procedures
Requirements
o Recognised qualified joiner with proven experience
o Has experience working both on-site and within a workshop environment
o Can demonstrate a high standard of previous work
o Is confident using a range of hand and power tools and workshop machinery
o Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work
o Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
o Has good communication skills and a positive attitude
o Is capable of working independently and within a team
o Holds a full clean driving licence
Negotiable salary based on experience.
(* 7am – 4pm – Monday and 7.30am – 4pm Tuesday – Friday)

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
