Salford, Manchester

Full-Time Temporary Contract | New Build Apartment Project

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Working Cleaning Team Leader to lead

and work alongside a team of cleaners on a busy new build construction project in

Salford.

This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in builders and sparkle

cleaning while also leading the team onsite. We are looking for someone with strong

attention to detail, good leadership skills, and the ability to maintain standards while

working to tight project deadlines.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to progress within a growing

company and take ownership of an important role on-site.

What the role involves

Working alongside the cleaning team, carrying out builders and sparkle cleans
Leading and supporting a team of construction cleaners on-site
Managing daily cleaning tasks and staff deployment
Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained across all areas
Monitoring productivity and quality of works
Reporting progress and issues to management
Helping the team achieve deadlines and handover targets
Working closely with site management and supervisors
Maintaining health & safety standards onsite

What we are looking for

Valid CSCS card (essential)
Previous construction cleaning experience
Previous team leader or supervisory experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards
Ability to lead by example and work hands-on with the team
Reliable, punctual, and organised
Confident communicating with management and operatives
Able to motivate teams and maintain productivity in fast-paced environments

Pay & Progression

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the role and be rewarded for

performance, reliability, and leadership.

Starting rate: £14.50 per hour
Increase to £15.50 per hour after a successful trial period and demonstration of required standards and leadership
