About Us

Baco-Compak (Norfolk) Limited is a successful family run business with over 40 years experience in the waste disposal industry.

Job Overview

We are currently looking for a motivated, organised and experienced Office Sales Administrator to join our busy team. This is a key role supporting our sales function and assisting with transport and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Handling incoming sales enquiries and processing customer orders
Preparing quotations, invoices, and delivery paperwork
Liaising with customers, drivers, and suppliers
Monitoring delivery progress and resolving any issues
Maintaining accurate records and databases
Supporting the office team with general administration duties
Providing excellent customer service at all times

Key Requirements

Previous experience in administration, sales support, or transport/logistics
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confident telephone manner and communication skills
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude

Desirable Skills

Proven experience in customer service or sales roles is preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Previous experience working in an office setting is essential
Experience in a waste disposal business desirable but not essential
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00 and Saturday morning 08.00 to 12.00 on a rota basis.
