About the role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable cabinetry fitter / installer to join our team.
The role will involve fitting high-end cabinetry in clients’ homes, including both in-frame and overlay cabinetry. There may also be occasional door-only projects on existing IKEA, Howdens or similar units.
Most fitting work will be within approximately 50 miles of our workshop and offices in Freeland. You will collect and return the company van from the workshop each day.
When fitting work is not available, you will be required to work on projects in the workshop, including preparation, assembly and other practical workshop tasks.
Main responsibilities
Installing fitted cabinetry, wardrobes, kitchens, storage and furniture to a high standard.
Fitting in-frame and overlay cabinetry, including doors, panels, trims, plinths, fillers and finishing details.
Carrying out occasional door-only projects on IKEA, Howdens or similar cabinetry.
Reading drawings and resolving practical fitting details on site.
Working cleanly and carefully in clients’ homes.
Assisting in the workshop with preparation, assembly and project work when required.
Communicating clearly with the workshop and office team.
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience fitting cabinetry, kitchens, wardrobes or similar interior joinery.
- Is confident with scribing, levelling, adjusting and finishing.
- Has a good eye for detail and takes pride in accurate, careful work.
- Is practical, tidy, reliable and able to work independently.
- Is polite and comfortable working in clients’ homes.
- Has a full UK driving licence.
- Can travel to our workshop in Freeland each working day.
