Main duties/key tasks/key result areas
· Preventative and planned maintenance of Kitchen Ventilation Systems.
· Continuing to build experience, learning from Service and Senior Engineers.
· Attending breakdowns of non-trading sites.
· Fault finding and repair on equipment, including controls.
· Willingness to work flexible hours.
· Build and maintain personal technical skills.
· Writing of technical reports using the CRM system - Salesforce Field Service and customer portals.
· Engaging with the Service office team reporting accurate information to ensure first class customer service.
· Attending Engineering meetings as and when required.
· Working alone or part of a team to achieve results.
Day Shift
Typical start/finish times (door to door) 05:00 – 14:30
On call Engineer on standby 24/7. Overtime if called out past contracted hours.
Night Shift
Typical start/finish times (door to door) 17:00 – 02:30
On call Engineer on standby between 24/7. Overtime if called out past contracted hours.

They will demonstrate superior listening skills to effectively ascertain customer requirements and/or system problems and deficiencies. They will be able to follow instructions and work cooperatively with the service team in order to complete tasks independently and efficiently whilst upholding high customer satisfaction levels at all times.
Experience/Qualifications
- Previous experience or learning as a field engineer or similar, is preferred.
- Understanding of Health & Safety guidelines.
- Attention to detail.
- Good attitude and willing to train and develop.
- Analytical mind and strong problem-solving ability.
- Goal oriented, self-directed, and self-motivated.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must demonstrate a willingness to learn, have a desire to improve daily.
- Full driving licence.
