Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in catering, serving, or food preparation is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
Handle cash transactions and process payments using the POS system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety regulations
Provide information about menu items and specials to guests
Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering prompt and courteous service
Support barista duties, including preparing coffee and other beverages when required
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
A friendly, professional attitude with a genuine passion for customer service
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
Basic food preparation skills are advantageous
Experience as a barista or in serving roles will be considered a plus
