Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Piling Operative (Front Man) to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with piling operations on various construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are maintained throughout. Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and operation of piling equipment in accordance with project specifications.
- Support the safe handling and positioning of piling materials using appropriate machinery.
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery as required, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or potential safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the mobilisation and demobilisation of site equipment and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to site safety protocols.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding machinery operation and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Proficiency in operating excavators or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable but not necessary.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices relevant to construction sites.
