West End OOSC are looking for playworkers for a busy out of school club. You will be required to play an active role in the provision of high quality play experiences within the setting, offering support and care to children and their families.
We are looking for an energetic and outgoing person who can work well within a team and can develop positive relationships with children, staff, parent/carers and partner organisations. Your main duties will be to provide activities, prepare snacks, supervise indoor and outdoor play areas and maintain a high standard for health and safety.
You will be expected to participate in training courses and the clubs supervision and appraisal process.
You will also be required to register with the SSSC and become a member of the PVG Scheme.
Experience and qualifications in the childcare sector are preferred but not essential as training will be given.
This post is for 16.25 hours per week 14:45-18:00 daily.
