The Strategy and Transformation Directorate within MPFT are looking to recruit a B7 Senior Project Manager to support a range of commercial activities over the coming months.
This post is being offered on a fixed term basis only for 6 months and will be for 30hrs per week.

Support Care Groups & corporate directorates in delivering strategic objectives through a portfolio of projects & transformation initiatives.
Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to understand priorities, plan resources & support delivery of agreed projects and programmes.
Lead & manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery of objectives, benefits, quality standards & milestones.
Provide expert advice & guidance on project management methodologies, processes and governance.
Deliver project management training to improve organisational understanding of project frameworks, roles & responsibilities.
Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring outputs are delivered to agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards.
Proactively identify & develop service improvement opportunities aligned with Trust strategies, including preparing proposals that outline benefits, risks and resource requirements.
Support digital transformation programmes by delivering innovative digital projects that improve service delivery, patient outcomes & operational efficiency.
Promote the effective use of digital technologies & ensure alignment with Trust priorities, NHS digital strategies and national standards.
Advise stakeholders on digital best practice, interoperability, information governance & cyber security requirements.
Provide leadership, support & mentoring within the team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and high performance

Develop and maintain effective relationships with Care Groups, corporate teams and key stakeholders.

Translate strategic objectives into clear project plans, ensuring alignment with benefits, risks, resources and milestones.
Manage projects from initiation to completion using recognised project management methodologies.
Ensure compliance with the Transformation Framework, maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting.
Manage project risks, issues, changes and exceptions, escalating where appropriate.

Ensure effective project closure, including benefits realisation, lessons learned and transition to business-as-usual operations.
Support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives aligned with Trust and NHS digital strategies.
Provide guidance on digital governance, information governance, cyber security, risk and benefits management.
Support the integration and interoperability of digital systems across clinical and corporate services.
Identify opportunities for digital innovation, automation and data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement digital solutions that improve patient and staff experience.

Lead and contribute to team meetings and development activities.
Use Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and project management systems to support delivery and reporting.
Manage and utilise workforce, recruitment, finance, risk management and tender management systems.
Act as a budget holder for the service where required.
Demonstrate knowledge of NHS digital transformation programmes, interoperability standards and digital health technologies.
Manage governance processes, decision logs and audit trails.
Analyse project performance and make adjustments to ensure successful delivery.
Undertake audits, evaluations and continuous improvement activities.
Assess digital maturity and readiness, recommending appropriate interventions.
Develop and implement effective communication and stakeholder engagement plans.
Communicate complex information clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences.
