Job Introduction

Job Information

Northumberland County Council’s Staff Bank provides a pool of highly skilled temporary workers who are looking for a long-term placement, or who want to work flexibly within the council. If a team needs support due to sickness, common staff shortages, or general vacancies, they call upon registered bank members to fill available assignments. These can be filled via a long-term assignment for up to 12 months on an ad hoc basis.

We are looking for multiple Café & Information Assistants to join our team at Bolam Lake Country Park.

Duties to include:

Working front of house providing customer service and providing the public with information about our parks and the local area
Food preparation
Cleaning of work areas
Serving customers and any other related tasks.

No experience needed; previous cafe work is preferred but all training will be provided.

Variable hours with weekends and bank holidays available. Pay is £13.05 per hour, with higher rate for weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are offered on a Ad Hoc basis.
