Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our bustling hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensure high standards of food safety and hospitality, and contribute to creating memorable guest experiences. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with relevant supervisory or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Coordinate reservations, seating arrangements, and manage guest flow efficiently.
Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring quality standards are maintained at all times.
Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary, supporting the kitchen team to meet service demands.
Enforce food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across the establishment.
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
Handle guest enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area to maintain a welcoming environment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
Support training initiatives for new team members in hospitality procedures and food safety protocols.

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production processes.
Experience in serving guests in a fast-paced environment such as restaurants or hotels.
Familiarity with culinary practices, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
Previous roles involving team management and leadership within the hospitality industry are highly desirable.
Knowledge of bar management is essential.
Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. This role offers an engaging environment for passionate hospitality professionals eager to lead by example and elevate guest experiences through excellent service delivery.

Pay: £12.90-£14.90 per hour
