Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous Vehicle Inspector to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive visual and functional inspections of vehicles, including engine, brakes, suspension, lights, tyres, and bodywork.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to access hard-to-reach areas and perform minor repairs or adjustments as required.
- Document inspection results accurately and prepare detailed reports for review.
- Identify defects or issues that may compromise vehicle safety or performance and recommend appropriate actions.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised inspection area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to facilitate repairs or further assessments when necessary.
- Ensure all inspections are completed within designated timeframes while adhering to company standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in vehicle inspection, automotive maintenance, or related fields is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for understanding vehicle systems and identifying faults effectively.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in vehicle inspection processes is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling parts or equipment is required.
