Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Assistant specialising in events to join our team. This paid role offers an excellent opportunity to support event organisation and administrative operations within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, ensuring smooth coordination of events, and maintaining efficient office procedures. Strong organisational skills, proficiency in office software, and excellent communication are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

Assist with the planning, organisation, and coordination of events from inception to completion
Manage scheduling and calendar arrangements for event-related activities
Prepare and distribute correspondence, invitations, and promotional materials related to events
Maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems
Handle phone enquiries with professional etiquette and provide prompt assistance to clients and vendors
Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Manage inventory of event supplies and organise logistics as required
Perform general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, and organising documents

Requirements

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
Excellent typing speed with high accuracy for data entry tasks
Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills
Previous administrative experience supporting event coordination or project management is advantageous
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail and ability to work independently within a team environment
Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems
