Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to creating a hygienic environment for staff and visitors alike. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking steady employment within a professional setting.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
Dust and wipe surfaces, including desks, shelves, and fixtures to maintain a dust-free environment
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
Clean windows, glass partitions, and other glass surfaces to ensure clarity and shine
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or damages promptly
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning standards and confidentiality

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of various cleaning tools and chemicals is desirable
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
