You’ll work under supportive supervision, building your skills step-by-step while contributing to a high-quality service for clients. That includes the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare client accounts based on information supplied by client
- Responsible for the preparation of VAT returns including communication with Clients to collate records
- Attend Client meetings with relevant manager or partner
- Ad hoc reports as required
- Prepare time budget for tasks, assisted by seniors
- Liaising with clients by telephone
- Drafting letters and other correspondence as required
- Monitor own job quality and quantity in line with agreed budgets and standards
- Support the team with the production of their work
- Record own chargeable time with the aim to improve recovery as experience gained
- Attend training and achieve success in your given qualification. Observing the guidelines laid out in your training agreement. Utilising the support and guidance offered by the firm.
- Attend courses that are appropriate to job role
- Achieve examination success
- Preparation of simple tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and corporation tax returns
- Potentially required to attend client sites to carry out audit work, outsourced accounts or ad hoc project work
- Assist with administration tasks as necessary to support the team
