Trojan Bins is one of the UK's growing suppliers of commercial waste and recycling products, supplying businesses, schools, councils and organisations nationwide.
We're looking for a proactive Marketing Executive to take ownership of our day-to-day marketing activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 1–3 years' marketing experience who wants to build their career in a business where they can genuinely make an impact.
You'll work closely with the Sales Manager and Company Owner, while also receiving support from our wider marketing team, so you'll never be left to figure things out on your own.
About the Role
No two days are the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and sending email marketing campaigns.
- Updating and maintaining our WordPress/WooCommerce website.
- Managing digital marketing activities to increase traffic and generate enquiries.
- Creating website content, landing pages and product listings.
- Assisting with SEO and marketing campaigns.
- Producing marketing materials, including the occasional catalogue, brochure or flyer.
- Working closely with our sales team to promote products and support new business opportunities.
- Monitoring marketing performance and suggesting new ideas and improvements.
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, is organised, has plenty of ideas and wants to grow with the business.
About You
Ideally, you'll have experience in some or most of the following:
- 1–3 years' experience in a marketing role.
- Email marketing.
- Digital marketing.
- WordPress and/or WooCommerce.
- Website content management.
- Copywriting and content creation.
- Basic SEO.
Bonus skills (not essential):
- Canva.
- Google Analytics.
- Social media marketing.
- Adobe Creative Suite.
Don't worry if you don't have experience in every area. We already have experienced marketing colleagues who can provide training and support where needed. Your attitude, willingness to learn and ability to take ownership are just as important as your existing skills.
