Responsibilities
- Polish and finish metal surfaces to achieve desired quality standards.
- Operate grinding and polishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment at all times.
- Assist in other fabrication tasks as needed to support the team.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a metal polisher or similar role within the electroplating or metal finishing industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculations.
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is advantageous.
Competitive rates of pay are dependant on experience with overtime available as and when demand dictates.
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
