Job Title: Level 3 Early Years Practitioner / Apprenticeship
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team as either a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner or an Early Years Apprentice.
The role involves providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing and fun environment.
You will help plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), support children through play, observe and record development, build positive relationships with parents and work as part of a friendly team.
We spend a large part of our day outdoors, so a love of being outside in all weathers is essential.
Requirements for Qualified Practitioner:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Good understanding of the EYFS
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Minimum 21 hours per week, with flexibility to help cover staff holidays
Requirements for Apprenticeship Applicants:
- A genuine interest in working with children and developing a career in childcare
- Willingness to complete a Level 3 Early Years qualification alongside working
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, motivated and eager to learn
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths preferred (or willingness to work towards Functional Skills if required)
- Minimum 21 hours per week, with flexibility to help cover staff holidays
Wages: National Minimum Wage to begin with.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.71 per hour
