Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our team at a prestigious wedding venue. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of memorable events, providing exceptional guest service in a vibrant and elegant setting. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is highly desirable. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair compensation for your valuable contribution.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring high standards of service.
Prepare and replenish bar stock, including mixing cocktails and handling cash or card transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
Upsell premium drinks and special offers to maximise guest satisfaction and venue revenue.
Monitor guest behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with licensing laws.
Provide excellent guest services by engaging professionally with wedding guests, addressing their needs promptly.
Support event staff with any additional duties required during weddings or special functions.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a focus on serving or bartending roles.
Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash register operations.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
Excellent guest service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience.
