Montapex Ltd is looking for an experienced, motivated, and reliable Team Leader to join our expanding commercial garden maintenance division.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for managing a small team, maintaining high standards across commercial sites, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a small team carrying out commercial grounds maintenance.
- Read and interpret site plans and specifications.
- Organise daily workloads and ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
- Liaise directly with the Directors regarding daily operations and project updates.
- Use the company job management app to receive, manage and complete scheduled work.
- Carry out all aspects of commercial garden maintenance including:
- Grass cutting
- Hedge cutting
- Strimming and edging
- Weed control
- Shrub and border maintenance
- Seasonal works
- Complete quality checks and maintain the high standards Montapex Ltd is known for.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain company vehicles, machinery and equipment to a professional standard.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' commercial garden maintenance experience.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
- Ability to read and work from site plans.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Confident using smartphones and mobile apps.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Do not have previous commercial gardening or grounds maintenance experience.
- Do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
- Are looking for general labouring work rather than a skilled gardening position.
Approximately 95% of our work is commercial grounds maintenance, so applicants must have relevant industry experience.

- £28,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience)
